About us
The BrisVegan meetup is a social group for like-minded people to come together in Magandjin (Brisbane) to share food, ideas, knowledge and create community. Our group philosophy is very similar to the concept of ubuntu.
You don't have to be vegan to join but please only order vegan food at meetups and bring vegan suitable dishes to pot lucks etc. We would love to introduce you to how great vegan food can be!
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Turrbal and Jagera people. We thank them for their ongoing care of the country we meetup on.

Brisbane Vegan Board Games + monthly dinner @ Vega Cafe, Spring Hill
Vega Cafe, 448 Boundary St, 1, Spring Hill, AUCome along to our event on the second Friday of every month where you can eat, drink, chat and play games with like-minded people!
We provide games and will help you learn to play them - all you need to bring is yourself. If you have any games you want to share, feel free to bring them along as well.
We will be at Vega Cafe in Spring Hill. It's a lovely space with outdoor tables and gorgeous artwork on the walls. This is a casual event, so turning up late, with an extra friend and changing your RSVP at the last minute are all fine. We often get a good turnout, so we look forward to seeing regular faces and new ones.

Good company?? 🫵Warrie Circuit is a longer, moderate intensity trail in Springbrook National Park known for its shady rainforest, beautiful views, waterfalls as well as some small creeks and ponds for a little optional swimming.

This trail is approximately 17km long, with steady ascending and descending sections. The expected walking time is around 5 hours.WHAT TO BRING:

Parking is available at Springbrook National Park Canyon Lookout carpark or along the road.⚠️ This is a popular area and parking is limited, so it's recommended to try and arrive early to get a spot.
Please note this is a free community event. It's a self-guided walk but we'll be going together as a group. By joining the walk you take the responsibility for yourself and your own safety.

Social Dinner @ The Green Edge
The Green Edge vegan grocery and cafe, 2b/229 Lutwyche Rd Windsor, Brisbane, AUCome along to our November social dinner!
We meet up once a month to enjoy a chat and a meal at some of the great veg restaurants around Brisbane. This month, we head to The Green Edge, which is always among everyone's favourite places to eat and shop for goodies in Brisbane.

Vegan Middle-level Boardgames @ Loving Hut - 3rd Saturday
Loving Hut Brisbane, 1420 Logan Rd, Mount Gravatt, QL, AUWe meet up on the 3rd Saturday each month for some delicious food and to play some medium level boardgames in The Loving Hut, Mt Gravatt event space!
The games change, but examples of what we often play include Meadow, Wingspan, Sagrada, Catan, Carcassonne, Harmonies and Splendor. These are slightly more involved games than the ones we play at our other events. This means the games usually take 30-90 minutes each. We'll do our best to get you started as always.
If you want to bring your own games to play, we are very happy for you to join us. If you want, you can post any games and a how-to-play videos in the comments.
The Loving Hut are letting us use this space for free, so we want attendees to support them in return. The Loving Hut offers a wide range of food and snack options and is 100% vegan. Check out their menu and details.
This is a drop-in, so come and go anytime you like. We look forward to see regulars and new people.
