First up we have Ben Place from Mexia who is going to teach us how to tell the story of your latest success in a concise and high-impact way that your listeners will remember. Ben is a an expert salesperson and in this brief session you'll learn the art of making an impression by relating "The Hero's Journey". Ben is even going to provide a template that you can use to present your story either orally or in writing. This will also give you the tools to create an item for the new "Success Stories" page on our Meetup site!

In these two sessions, learn from Brett Smith and Michael Christie about how F5 services can add value to your Azure environment, and how customers are currently using their tech.

He is a growth catalyst who specialises in developing strategic engagements and accelerating new business opportunities. 20 years' experience with start-ups through to global organisations in Business Development, Account Management and Partner Management provides Ben with the ability to engage across a broad range of business and technology fields in both Commercial & Public Sector.

Brett Smith (https://www.linkedin.com/in/brett-smith-1b98718/) is a Senior Systems Engineer with F5 Networks responsible for Pre-Sales engagements across the QLD and NT region. With over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry, Brett has a strong background in Operations, Security and Architecture, and is a Chartered Security Architect (SABSA).

Brett is a subject matter expert across the F5 security portfolio, specialising in Identity & Access controls, Web Application Security, SSL/TLS encryption and has been awarded the highest level of F5 certification, F5 Certified Solution Expert - Security.

Michael Christie (https://www.linkedin.com/in/michaelachristie/) is a Senior Systems Engineering Manager with F5 Networks. Michael is responsible for Pre-Sales engagement in Enterprise, Government and Commercial segments across ANZ. He is a regular speaker on topics such as application security, performance and agility. Michael has over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry and has previously held various technical delivery, sales and management roles for companies including Lucent Technologies and Cisco.
