If you’re a Wishart local that has been pining for a new cafe to call your own, here’s some news that’ll really put a pep in your step. The crew behind beloved Newstead caffeinery El Cafe will be opening new cafe Coco & Co. at Wishart’s Civic Fair Shopping Village on Newnham Road next week. While the team are keeping most details a secret until Coco & Co.’s opening, owners Andy and Angela have confirmed that the dog-friendly cafe will boast a gourmet breakfast and lunch menu, including items like homemade potato rosti Benedicts and a big breakfast loaded with bacon, eggs, hash browns, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, gourmet German-style sausage, house-made tomato relish and sourdough. Coco & Co. will be serving speciality coffee from heralded hometown roaster Bellissimo, as well as its own signature cold-press coffee.

The Cove Kitchen & Bar is a bustling breakfast, lunch and dinner spot serving up a mouth-watering menu of elevated pub fare and delicious drinks. Located on Newman Road at the Geebung RSL, this chic and contemporary space boasts a modern dining room and a sun-soaked alfresco area, encouraging guests to sit back, relax and settle in for a good time. When it comes to the food and drink offering, The Cove Kitchen & Bar dishes up coffee and takeaway bites, alongside an all day menu that features all of your breakfast favourites, traditional and gourmet pizzas, burgers, salads and more!

The best things are almost always found in out of the way places and no more so than Double Shot Espresso, a pocket-sized cafe sequestered amongst the apartment blocks of Oxlade Drive. Parking can be tricky in this neck of the woods so allow plenty of time.
