Speakers: 🎤 Dave Bechberger, Sr. Graph Architect, AWS An Introduction to Graphs and Amazon Neptune This session will provide an introduction to graphs, graph databases and Amazon Neptune. We'll cover topics including what a graph database is, common use cases, and how to use them to solve problems. We'll wrap up this session by demonstrating how Amazon Neptune provides pragmatic solutions to real world problems such as knowledge graphs, fraud graphs, and identity graphs. By the end of this session you will understand the types of application questions Amazon Neptune solves and how to being solving them yourself. Dave Bechberger is a Sr. Graph Architect on the Amazon Neptune service team at AWS. In addition to his expertise in graph databases, Dave has spent years architecting and building distributed data architectures and delivering full-stack software solutions to complex data problems. He prides himself on taking a pragmatic approach to solving data problems for applications, data analysis, and data science workflows using a variety of SQL and NoSQL data technologies. Dave has previously spoken at a variety of national and international technical conferences including NDC Oslo, NDC London, as well as previous GraphDay conferences in Texas, San Francisco and Seattle.
