What we're about
If you're a bloke who loves singing (harmony), this is the group for you! Whether you have music training or not, have a background in choir or musical theatre, or just know you love to sing, come join us. This is singing in 4-part a capella male harmony mostly in the barbershop style but also doo-wop, Australiana, etc. We sing songs from the past and the present, arranged with 3 harmony parts supporting the melody. In this group you will get the opportunity to gain confidence, learn singing techniques and meet new people.
This is a chorus (of about 20 guys), but there are always opportunities to form new quartets from within the group, if you're keen to experience the purity of the quartet sound.
We are also part of a national organisation, Barbershop Harmony Australia, which holds annual conventions.
We rehearse once a week on Tuesday evening in Coorparoo (Brisbane), QLD, Australia.
Upcoming events (1)
We are looking for Lead, Baritone, & Tenor Section Singers to join our group.
Lead section is normally singing the Melody/Lyric part of songs. Singing higher pitch than Bass and lower than Tenor.
Baritone section is to complete the 4 part harmony cord, with about the same pitch range as lead section.
Tenor section is the higher range voice.

Come and try singing male 4-part close harmony in a chorus or quartet setting. We're holding an open night for people who like to sing!
All level are welcome (including Inexperienced/Novice/Beginners)!

Rehearsal involves singing existing repertoire and always working on new songs.
