Brisbane Women in Blockchain Meetup welcomes The Linux Foundation's Daniela Barbosa, Vice President of World Wide Alliances and Tracy Kuhrt, Community Architect, Hyperledger. Both are here in Australia attending key events and when Brisbane was included in their itinerary, the BWiB Meetup was on their "must-do" list.

At this meetup we will ask both Daniela and Tracy to share their story with the Linux Foundation and how Hyperledger became a key part of its step into the blockchain ecosystem and where they both see the future of blockchain's potential. This should be another eventful Meetup!

Daniela Barbosa serves as Vice President of World Wide Alliances at Hyperledger, where she is responsible for the full lifecycle management of Hyperledger’s membership community while overseeing the broader industry and business community outreach and network growth. Daniela has developed and led growth and innovation strategies for more than 18 years with a background working with financial services, media, and enterprise software. Daniela has led both partnerships and alliances teams as well as marketing and has been responsible for driving global partnerships, OEM integrations, market leadership, and global brand awareness. Daniela has a Master’s degree in library and information science from Rutgers University. A self-diagnosed information and data junkie, she is fascinated by trends in data and content delivery and consumption.

Tracy Kuhrt is community architect of Hyperledger at the Linux Foundation. Tracy has had a varied career working in the automotive manufacturing, pharmaceutical, microelectronics, and e-commerce industries. Previously, Tracy was a principal member of the technical staff on the strategic architecture team at PayPal and developed compilers, assemblers, and linkers for 8- and 16-bit microcontrollers at Microchip Technologies, using open source software.
