The purpose of this group is to give you an opportunity to experience the huge benefits of taking time to appreciate the wonders of nature in silence as well as socialising with others on the 5-6 miles of walks I will arrange.

5.5 mile Walk with 'Mindfulness' Keynsham -Chewton-Keynsham

Come and join me for this 5.5 mile Walk with mindfulness and walking in nature as part of the journey. We will start from the ( YELLOW ENTRANCE CAR PARK ) which is Keynsham stations overflow car park BS31 2DD at 11am and make our way to Keynsham park and follow the river chew towards Chewton. From here we will make our way to Manor Road woodland area for a silent mindful walk and a short stop for a drink or snack at approximately 1pm. On route we will have several stops in silence to experience nature around us using mindful exercises. If you have never tried mindful walking before you may be pleasantly surprised how it can help you enjoy your surroundings using all your senses. This walk will be for walkers who are willing to try short periods of silence using mindfulness and walking and yet still have time to chat with those attending. I have purposely kept the group small (16) for those attending to practice mindfulness and walking in nature. No dogs please. I will be asking for a small voluntary donation of £1 to help fund the group's fees at the beginning of the walk and If the weather looks too wet the walk will be cancelled by 9am on the day. Please ensure you have strong walking shoes or boots and comfortable/waterproof outer clothes for this walk, sunscreen if necessary as well as water or snack if needed. Mindfulness workshop at Willsbridge Mill on June 15th (10.30am-1pm)

Come and join me for this event for beginners and those who attended the Mindfulness retreat in May. This day will be for people who would like to practice mindfulness with different exercises including deep relaxation, mindful walking in nature and Mindful listening. We all experience the stresses of life so this is an opportunity for you to relax and enjoy time for you in a safe, relaxed environment and learn the great benefits of mindfulness that you can take away to use daily. As a well practised and trained Mindfulness practitioner I would like to share with you my experience I have learnt on the many Mindfulness retreats I have attended.One thing I have learnt is how to balance my life more and have compassion for myself as well as others. The event will be held on Saturday 15th June. Refreshments will be provided as well as facilities for you to visit the cafe just opposite the Mill for lunch after the workshop. Booking is necessary to attend as there are limited places so please message me for your interest or questions you may have about the day. Cost is £10 for the session to be paid on booking to secure your place. I look forward to hearing from you. 😊
