What we're about

Bristol and Bath Cyber is the regional chapter for the UK Cyber Security Forum. It is aligned with the new West of England Combined Authority boundaries. It is free as a result of generous sponsorship and we have regular meetings in Bristol & Bath. Whilst our focus is primarily within the regional SME Cyber community, we welcome individuals, academia and larger companies to participate. Our keys aims are:

* Co-operation, Collaboration and Networking between Cyber Security SMEs
* Single point of contact for larger companies to engage with Cyber Security SMEs
* Central point for SMEs to channel lobbying to Government regarding key issue
* Community Initiatives:
- Improve Cyber Security Posture of Local SMEs through:
- Liaise with Law Enforcement
- Increase Awareness of the Need for Cyber Security Skills
- Engage with Academia

Join us on 28th Feb for an evening of talks and discussions around a topic that is central to cybersecurity. We have a great line up of talks, complimentary food and networking 17:30 - Registration / Networking 18:00 - Cluster update from Tim 18:05 - Speaker 1 18:30 - Speaker 2 Joanne' research involved a series of people affected by the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Contrary to many opinions reported in the news, the respondents did not delete their accounts, frantically change their privacy settings, or even express that much concern.
