We post all kinds of art events that are happening in beautiful British Columbia.

Our goal is to make this group the go-to place where one can find what is happening in the lower mainland and beyond!

Currently we are looking for:

Individuals who are interested in hosting events under this meet up and do not have a network to market to or the know of how to get started. If interested send us an e-mail to set up a time so we chat and meet to discuss logistics.

If you have an event you think can be beneficial to others kindly message us the event details so we can share. Kindly do so 2-3 weeks in advance so it on the calendar ahead of time.

If you like to post consistent events kindly contact an Organizer to become part of the leadership team.

We want you to be safe, healthy and creative so here at we are bringing our 100 Braid St paint events to the comfort of your own home and bubble. You won't find our paint nights like the ones you find in bars-we are a working art studio and do not use a stroke over stroke copying but teach specific painting skills so that you can learn and improve your skills. Our teachers are working professional artists and will instruct you in specific painting techniques. One of our teachers will be the evenings host. Each event will be presented live through Zoom, a live streaming platform. A link will be emailed to you with all of the information needed approximately one hour before the event. WHAT YOU NEED No distractions so you’re able to keep up with the teacher Drink & snacks Zoom App on your digital device – please go to zoom.com and download the free software. We will be sending you a special Zoom link prior to your event and you will use this link to access the class. Our Artist will spend a few minutes getting you acclimated to the virtual software. FAQ’S What do I need if I have my own supplies? 1 Canvas 16x20 or 12x16 Acrylic paint (enough for your painting; suggested colours for all of our paintings: White, Black, 2 Red (cool & warm), 2 Blues (cool & warm), and 2 Yellows (cool & warm), Burnt Umber (brown) Brushes Small Paper Plate or Piece of cardboard as a palette Paint Smock to keep your clothes protected Water container for rinsing your brushes Easel (optional) Paper Towel Spray Bottle (optional - this is helpful to have to keep paint moist, especially if it is hot in your area) What is included in the 100 Braid Paint Event Kit? Canvas 12″ x 16″ Student Acrylic Paint 2-3 brushes Reusable paper plate palette Paper Towel Printed Photo of the Painting Templates (not all paintings require this) Where do I pick up my painting kit?
