Brooklyn Bible Studies

Each Saturday at 3pm this summer we will meet at Brooklyn Central Library Grand Army Plaza to study together the gospel of John and how the Word who became flesh can change our lives forever. We will read a portion of the text, ask some discussion questions and discuss our observations and the impact of the text on our lives today. Everyone is welcome to join. Whether you're a seeker, a follower of Jesus, or just curious to discuss the bible, life, and meaning in this world, we would love to have you join.

Bring a bible if you can or download a bible app on your phone or let us know and we can bring a bible for you.

We will usually meet in a room in the information commons, but that may vary from week to week so call or text Caleb 347.598.2211 or Mark 502.415.5092 to find out exactly where we will be meeting. Feel free also to reach out with any questions you may have anytime.

From September through December on Sundays at 12pm we will study together "How Should Being a Christian Affect My Sexuality?" Classes are from 12pm - 1pm every Sunday.

As a new year begins, we wanted to personally invite you to a special gathering we’re hosting called “REVIVE! – Returning to God in the New Year.”

Whether you’ve joined our Brooklyn Bible Studies group recently and haven’t attended yet—or you’ve come in the past but haven’t been able to make it for a while—this is a great opportunity to reconnect with God and with others seeking Him!

### What to Expect

This will be a simple, encouraging afternoon with short talks and open discussion focused on:

• Why we need God
• How we grow closer to God
• Why community matters in seeking God

There’s no pressure to speak, participate, or commit to anything. You’re welcome to listen, ask questions, or simply observe. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to Scripture, or looking for a Bible-centered community, you are welcome. At the end, we’ll also share information about our weekly Bible studies for those interested in continuing the conversation.
