Late Fall Migration Bird Walk
Let's look for late fall migrants and early winter duck arrivals! Birds seen this week include: - Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - Northern Flicker - Hermit Thrush - Ruby-crowned Kinglet - White-throated Sparrow - Red-tailed Hawk - and more! Bring binoculars if you have them. IMPORTANT NOTE: I won't be checking my phone for text or meetup messages once the walk begins. If you arrive after 9:05am, you can CALL me at[masked] or look for anyone with binoculars walking around Pier 1. Beginners welcome & encouraged. Meet in park where Old Fulton Street ends/intersects with Furman St. (BargeMusic) at 9am. To the left (south) of BargeMusic there is an NYC Ferry ticket machine. We'll be by the benches right next to the machine.
