Learn drumming and have fun with our Brazilian Batucada (no experience needed)!
We have just started a Brazilian Batucada group lead by master percussionist Everton Isidoro from Salvador de Bahia, Brazil! Many of us are learning everything from scratch so you don't need any previous experience. We are all very friendly, you will love the positive vibes and energy! Here's a fun video of our 1st rehearsal (some people were experienced but others just started!): • Price $15 per class • Everton Isidoro's bio: Everton Isidoro was born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He began studying percussion in 1999, and he has completed his Bachelors degree in Percussion at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in 2012. His work has consisted of 10 years as a percussion teacher and musician at Neojibá project, percussion teacher at Espaço Cultural Pierre Verger, musician at Orchestra Afro-Sinfônica, the Orchestra Soteropolifônica, Leitieres Leite & the Afro Latin Jazz Orquestra, as well as teacher and coordinator of the percussion group Tom de Percussão. What we're about

I started BDC because I wanted to build a community around drumming. Even though I'm a professional musician, I've always loved playing with anyone who enjoyed making in-the-moment music with others as much as I did.

The purpose of the group is to build community, make in the moment music and share rhythm and dance based events.

You should join us if this appeals to you. Your level of drumming is of no consequence. Just bring an attitude of awareness.

Keep groovin',
