May in Manhattan at Meetup HQ ft. Izzy Oji & Lisa Luo and Kevin Galligan
Details
Happy Spring!
This time Brooklyn Kotlin meetup will take place in the Big City, at the our very favorite Meetup's HQ in Soho. Light refreshments will be provided, as well as some great talks by:
-
Izzy Oji and Lisa Luo will be talking about "Casual Kotlin"--how to dip your toes in Kotlin on Android and leverage the language's niceties without the daunt of converting your whole app.
-
Kevin Galligan will be demoing "Kotlin Mobile (Android & IOS) Multiplatform Preview":
The Kotlin/Native side of Multiplatform was discussed a lot after KotlinConf, but not a lot has been built. That will be changing over the next few months. We'll go over some of the libraries coming soon, demo SqlLite and some other architectural libraries on iOS, and walk through the pieces needed to get started
See you May 2nd!
