Hello!

Kirsten and I would like to thank everyone that was able to come out to the meetup last night!  We appreciated you braving the cold weather and winds to join us at Berry Park!  It was great to have such a varied group of Brooklynites, Manhattaners and even a couple of people from Jersey. We hope to schedule a follow-up meet & greet for those that could not make it in the near future.

So - we could use your help!  The people behind this meetup also run a music listings site, My Social List.  The site provides music listings for the New York area.  We are currently working on two major projects:

1.  An iPhone application for our listings (don't worry, Android is soon to follow!)

2.  Our first sponsored show!  Ava Luna, Total Slacker, Caged Animals and Osekre & The Lucky Bastards at Shea Stadium on Friday - which is also our next Meetup!

We have launched a Kickstarter to help raise money for the mobile app.  Donate $20 and you get ticket to our show!  Donate $25 and you can grab a few beers with us for free before the show.  We are pretty close to meeting our goal, but we only have 4 days left!  Any additional funds we raise will go to starting Android development.  The app will be free, and we think it will be a great way to track concerts in New York and share them with friends.  More info about the Kickstarter can be found her: http://kck.st/vLwlpw
