Bridging Design and Production: Tips and Pitfalls for Prototyping and Design Handover using Cursor
    by David da Silva Contín

AI tools like Cursor are changing how designers work—but they’re not plug-and-play. In this talk, I’ll share a workflow that anyone can use to create prototypes that leverage your design system. We’ll walk through how this played out in a real-world project, what it takes to set it up, make it work well, and when it’s the right choice (vs. when it isn’t). You’ll leave with practical tips to cut Figma grind, and ways to make your team faster at implementing designs.

David da Silva Contín is a Senior Product Designer at climate tech startup Green Project, drawing on his background as a software engineer and his ongoing experiments with LLMs to design AI features and streamline product workflows.
