Processing our psychedelic experiences can be like discovering various streams of energies and hidden knowledge that have been buried deep within our psyche. And when guided by an experienced facilitator, integration can help us weave those streams of knowledge into the fabric of everyday life - giving us the strength and direction we need to thrive after an expansive journey.
If you've been looking for a safe container to process in community, then join us for an in-person Psychedelic Integration Circle! This circle is intended for those who are looking to share and process a journey through altered states. It is a space of openness and support as we process our experiences together through the lenses of growth, healing, and connection.
Our facilitator, Yaquí Rodriguez, is a Bushwick-raised Curandera and an experienced integration facilitator who will lead our peer-supported integration circle. We are grateful to have her facilitating integration circles with us!
Doors open at 6:30 pm and we will begin sharing at 6:45 pm. Please arrive on time so we can keep the space contained. There will be no entry after 6:45 pm so we can foster an uninterrupted space of deep listening and connection. We appreciate your understanding and we can't wait to see you there!
**If you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, please let us know ahead of time so we can make your spot available to others. We are able to offer refunds up to 48 hrs before the event start time. Please email hello@bps.community if you have any questions.**
- Psychedelic Book Club with Dr. Rachel Harris338 Moffat St, Brooklyn, NY
In this month’s edition of Psychedelic Book Club, Dr. Rachel Harris is joining us to discuss her new book, Swimming in the Sacred. The book is based on Dr. Harris’ in-depth interviews with fifteen women elders who have been guiding psychedelic experiences in the underground, sometimes for more than thirty years.
Dr. Harris will be giving a talk, followed by a discussion-based Q+A. This is an opportunity to explore an alternative to the medical model, as the elders interviewed in the book are best described as priestesses in the model of the Eleusinian Mysteries and represent an alternative way of being with entheogens.
Buy tickets at this link: https://www.bps.community/event-details/psychedelic-book-club-with-rachel-harris-ph-d
Dr. Harris will sign copies after the discussion. The second ticket tier ($30) includes a book, which you will be able to pick up at the venue. We encourage everyone to come prepared with questions!
We hope you can join us!
If you have any questions, please email hello@bps.community.

- Rapé Circle and Talk with Chacruna Institute (Oct 16 & 17)Matka Studios, Kings County, NY
Tobacco is one of the most prevalent and respected sacred plants among Indigenous and traditional peoples of the Americas. One of the ways it is traditionally consumed is in the form of rapé snuff.
The Brooklyn Psychedelic Society is partnering with the Chacruna Institute for two evenings of experiential learning about rapé. This is a chance to make direct contact with the world of visionary plants and to sit with teachers who carry these medicines with the blessing and permission of their partners in the Amazon.
- Decompress from Horizons with the Brooklyn psychedelic community
- Learn about the history, traditions, and contemporary uses of rapé
- Explore a new relationship with tobacco
- Come away with your own rapé and kuripe (pipe for self-administration)
- Support Chacruna’s mission of decolonization and cultural exchange in the psychedelic space
We will be gathering twice, once on Monday (Oct 16th) and again on Tuesday (Oct 17th). Each evening will have a different educational talk, followed by the music and fellowship of a co-created rapé circle.
