Welcome to BSFW, a community of speculative fiction writers serious about publication. Explore our calendar here on Meetup, as well as a wealth of other resources to help you achieve your goals and get the most from BSFW.

Read our Policies and Procedures here, including our Anti-Harassment Policy: http://www.bsfwriters.com/policies--procedures

BSFW does not critique work that has been written using AI. BSFW does not allow for members to use AI to critique each other’s work without expressed written permission from the author.
- The full policy is here: https://www.bsfwriters.com/policies--procedures/bsfws-ai-policy-be-pro-human

Because of the way Meetup is structured, we must charge "dues." But we are a Fractured Atlas group, so paying dues through them allows us to make them a voluntary donation, and we can turn off dues on Meetup. (Plus, they're tax deductible).
Here's how:
• First, sign up there before your trial membership ends: https://fundraising.fracturedatlas.org/brooklyn-speculative-fiction-writers/
• Then, let us know through brief our self-reporting form and we'll turn off your Meetup dues: https://forms.gle/hqf3CFJbR5wXBJAi6

Our home on the web is where you'll find, among lots of other things, a downloadable copy of the BSFW Critique Etiquette: http://www.bsfwriters.com/

Discord is where a lot (and we mean A LOT) of amazing conversations are happening! Reach out to an Organizer to get an invitation to our forums.

Our Members Only page has exclusive content for you: http://www.bsfwriters.com/401/login.php?redirect=/bsfw-members-page and the password is: GetPublished!
