Will Larche: What everyone in tech should know about salaries, offers, and stock
Will has paid lawyers, compensation consultants, and accounts tons of money to learn what should be (but isn't) easy to understand about compensation. He'll cover:
- Negotiating salaries
- Evaluating offers
- Demystifying stock options and equity
- How to not get screwed
Will Larche (Software Engineer at Google) Formerly the Chief Product Office of Miner Labs (fashion-tech startup fail) and Lead iOS Engineer at LearnVest (financial-tech startup success) which sold to Northwest Mutual for over $300M. Now he works as a Flutter and iOS design engineer in Google's Material Design department (material.io) which builds and defines the visual components for all Alphabet products. If you have a Google iOS app on your phone, you have his work!
You can find him on Github at (https://github.com/willlarche).

Tamar Nachmany: Blockchain & Swift
Ethereum is a platform for integrating blockchain technology into any product. The front end for many of these products will be a native mobile app. In this talk I will be discussing interesting uses of blockchains on mobile and the present and future of building Ethereum support on iOS. I’ll also be highlighting the hole in Swift language support with the hope of inspiring more iOS engineers to get involved in the blockchain space.
Tamar Nachmany is an iOS engineer on Tumblr’s Community engineering team. She also teaches engineering, writes fiction, and organizes an art residency.
You can find her on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/tamarshmallows) and Github (http://www.github.com/tamarnachmany).
