SPOT 2 - Robotics, Swift & the MekaMon
Adrianne Wortzel is a robotics artist working with the swift playground-enabled, non-humanoid known as MekaMon, manufactured by Reach Robotics. Adrianne is participating in an arts residency program run by ThoughtWorks Arts and is exploring the expressive potential of the MekaMon to develop a social and psychotherapeutic tool for nonverbal expression through gesture. All of this driven by an open-sourced platform enabled by Swift and Swift playgrounds. Adrianne is seeking Swift engineers to participate in her exploration and further their knowledge of Swift while also exploring the edges of robotics & creative tech.
This will be a less formal presentation. Adrianne will give a demo of the MekaMon capabilities and will show a video describing her project. Followed by some hands-on Q&A with the MekaMon!
