What we're about

This meetup is specifically designed for all levels of players to reach the next level in their tennis career. I am an intermediate/advanced player who has played for several years at courts all around the city. I enjoy playing with all types of players and learning from their play, I've also done a bit of research and picked up several different workouts and drills from varying sources such as books, tennis magazines, internet, tennis channel, etc... Amongst other things I am a certified personal trainer having worked at Equinox in past. We will be conducting meetups 2-3 times a week which are geared to improve your cardio, footwork, groundstrokes, volleys, overheads, serves, returns, lobs, and overall court awareness. Essentially a professional tennis workout regime. We will also rally and members are welcome to stay for a long as they want and do some general hitting and possibly matches.

This meetup is unlike other tennis meetups in that it will be geared towards the serious tennis enthusiast who wants to work hard, improve, meet other like minded professional and courteous people, and have a great time.

Another aspect of this meetup is that we will introduce our members either new to New York or native, to courts where you can play for 2+ hours without needing a permit and with lights on till midnight. All the busier courts require a $200/year permit and lights on some courts require $50-$60/hour.

Based on all these aspects we will selective in choosing our members and membership is contingent to approval by the organizer and we reserve the right to cancel your membership if you are disruptive to the class. We are looking for hard working, fun loving, courteous people who really want to get better.

With all this said we are open to members contributing drills and workouts to the program.

Welcome to the Brooklyn Tennis Factory!!
