17 years after Boris Yeltsin became the first president of the Russian federation, you have the opportunity to debate Mother Russia’s transformation. What role has she played during the US elections? Does she keep the lights on in Europe? Who will win the world cup?
You will get the exact motion on the spot and can then decide if you want to observe or speak.
Debating involves one topic and two sides making their case. The host draws the teams at random and provides feedback afterwards because our goal is not only that you learn something about Russia but also communication.
There is no need to prepare anything in advance but bringing pen and paper does not hurt.
The Dandelion debate nights have a new format, argue a different topic each week and take place at a venue fully accessible for wheelchair users.
