Computational law & Blockchain Festival - BXL node - day 2 - LEARN
Details
The idea is to as the Brussels node plug into the Computational Law & Blockchain Festival 2018 (http://legalhackers.org/clbfest2018/) over the weekend. There are multiple tracks, but this event relates to the LEARN track and is severed off for reasons of clarity. In the afternoon (from 14h00, but we would receive people in advance so we can start in time) we have the honour to present a number of SPEAKERS. The talks are mainly "legal" in approach. The current timeline looks as follow
13:30 Attendees arrive
14:00 Consent management & GDPR Compliance on blockchain (Dimitri Verhelst, Co-founder Juru)
15:00 Blockchain technology and land registration (Benjamin Verheye, PhD student KULeuven)
15:30 Pauze
15:45 Automatic execution of “real” contracts using blockchain technology, proof of concept application for Lawbox (Hadrien Van Durme, Trase)
16:30 Should crypto be regulated? (Tobias Kaiser)
17:00 Have a drink and discuss
The entry to the event is free.
The venue is Digityser. Just to get to know what brews there (data, blockchain, virtual reality, internet of things,...) makes it worth visiting. Also, the drinks are priced democratically.
Hope to see you there, and to interact with you on this cutting edge topic.
