It is my great pleasure to announce the formation of a new PHP User Group – Brussels PHP http://twitter.com/brusselsphp ! Meet and learn along with other PHP developers in the Brussels area! Come to a Brussels PHP Meetup to exchange ideas and talk about code, architecture, innovation, PHP and related technologies as well as open source web development in general.

We're kicking things off at 19h on Wednesday, January 21st at the betacowork where an exciting international guest will joins us for our first meeting as a stop on his "Wisdom as a Service World Tour" ( http://wisdomworldtour.com/ ). He will be presenting his popular talk "From London to Chicago: A Conceptual Map for Unit Testing". In addition to the presentation, we'll have food, time for networking, swag and giveaways. We're also planning an optional drink-up following. We plan monthly meetings featuring guest speakers (we're already working with other great speakers for the coming months!) as well as hack nights, socials, lightning talks, etc. as the group gets more established.

Please take a moment and come over to the page to register for the group and RSVP for the meeting -- it will only take a moment and will help us make certain that we have enough food, swag, seating, etc. for the group. Even if you can't make it to the first meeting (and we really hope that you can!), please register so that we can keep you posted as new events are planned.

Look forward to seeing you there!
