we are happy to be back on 2017 with a new meetup and also to have Adrian Lungu & Alex Stancu (https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexstancu/) @ Adobe Romania as guests to talk about Cassandra, JVM, cloud environments and more. More on the agenda below:

7:00 - 7:45 PM Cassandra on Zing: baZINGa! - Adrian Lungu & Alex Stancu
The presentation will be focused on a major Cassandra upgrade (from version 1.2 to version 2.1) on a 200-nodes cluster running on AWS. We will present how we've approached the whole process, from planning to execution and problems we've encountered along the way. We'll also cover the automation and installation of Zing JVM, which helped us drastically decrease the service response time.
