Fall in Paterson Park and Waterfalls Workshop
• First let's head to Paterson where you will be amazed at the rushing waterfalls in Great Falls Historical Park. Rushing water from various angles will get you super picture results as they plunge to 77 feet. We'll be practicing with slow shutter speeds and fast speeds for different effects. Bring ND filter or Polarizer filter. Bring a zoom lens ranging from wide angle to telephoto or prime lenses to do this magnificent waterfall justice! • Next we'll head over to Overlook Park where the statue of Alexander Hamilton sits: he created America's first planned industrial city here. • Let's catch some fall colors in the park as we head off to Lambert Castle , a short 5 miniute drive. Did you know Paterson was nicknamed "Silk City" in it's hay day. • Then hook-up with a fellow photo buddy to tour the town and grab some pictures and dinner before heading back home. In the heart of Paterson, the Passaic River drops through a notch in the basaltic bedrock that was created by glaciers retreating during the last ice age. The result is the second-largest falls (by volume) east of the Mississippi River. Only Niagra Falls dumps more water than Paterson's Great Falls.

What we're about

Bucks County Photography is an extension of Katydid Photography, and is run by Professional Photographer Kathy Peoples. Katydid is here to help teach people to become better photographers through classes, field trips and workshops. Enjoying photography is what we do and we hope to find people that do the same.
