Come join us for morning treats at Figmor Cafe in North Tonawanda and we can chat all things WordPress ...or not, as we see fit.

This is an informal gathering to get to know one another. Let's get caffeinated before starting our work day.

We had a great discussion June 17 with 5 people in attendance. Among other things we discussed:

• Coordinating calendars that don't integrate
• Video conference preferences (Google Meet, Zoom, etc)
• Students' take on AI
• How AI will settle in as a tool, comparing the current AI climate to the desktop publishing integration in the 80's
• Now that do many apps are integrating AI, learning and implementing the new features makes us temporarily less efficient
• Asking Claude to explain it's advice to learn whether it's useful advice
• Critical thinking as the most important skill, over specific technical skills
• The cost of free services (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
• Living near the zoo and hearing the animals go off overnight
