Abstract: The presentation introduces a brief history of how Helix rebalancer evolved, then talks about the features offered by WAGED rebalancer, and lastly does an analysis on WAGED rebalancer components.

• 3:50 - 4:25 "Helix on Uber's Apache Pinot cluster", Ting Chen

Abstract: In this talk, we will share our experiences on operating a big Apache Pinot data analytics service using Apache Helix as the control plane library. Helix is able to handle the state transition and cluster node communication reliably. We will also discuss a few production issues we encountered and improvements we contributed back to Helix.
