What we're about

Being a single parent has it's own unique challenges, dynamics, and even some benefits. The aim of this group is to provide a chance to get to know and socialize with other parents in similar circumstances in the area. Parents of kids of all ages are welcome.

We'll have social events and outings with kids. As well as have some events just for adults. It can be so nice and helpful to be able to chat and spend time with other parents who just "get" some of what we're going through.

This is not intended to be a dating group. There's other sites and groups you can go to for that.

Note: Hosts and organizers are not experts and by signing up you agree to waive any and all liability if you (and any guests you invite) are injured during an event.

Axe Throwing! ~$20/hr

Bad Axe Throwing

Bad Axe Throwing has walk-in axe throwing, now Sunday afternoons! https://badaxethrowing.com/locations/axe-throwing-burlington/#availability $20 /HR Per Person The reservation policy doesn't work well for a meetup event, so we'll just do the drop-in. Which means we use a common target area shared with other drop in people/groups that show up around that time. And no dedicated axe throwing coach other than an initial instruction. Don't worry if you're no good, we're going for fun! We can do at least 1 hour, and anyone who wants to go for another hour can stay on. We'll get billed at the end. Please update your rsvp if you can't make it. We'll try out this drop-in and can do the event again if there's a lot of interest.
