Business Agility Institute defines business agility in the form of the 12 domains, we see a sophisticated and nuanced model that speaks to a holistic picture of the topic.

However, the standard interpretation "on the ground" in most large organizations tends to primarily reference the ability to adapt to changing market conditions, focus on business results, rapidly innovate, create flow, and the like. These are all great things, but overlooked in practice is typically the internal meaning-making mechanism within leaders, the constraints imposed by shared mental models that emergently create organizational culture, how people become unsettled working in turbulent and mistrustful environments, along with a dearth of research-based and practical methods to work with these areas os developing leaders, mindset, and culture.

The Integral Agile Transformation Framework (tm) was specifically designed to shine a light on this gap, revealing how Business Agility plus Human Systems Agility equals Organizational Agility.
