HELLO FRIENDS AND BUSINESS COLLEAGUES!

WellyBAM invites you to attend our first Business Agility Insights lunchtime learning session.

Who is WellyBAM?
We are provokers, activators and collaborators for a better way to work.
Our cause/gig/thing/passion? Business agility: change, innovation, how people work for a successful future.

At this first event, we will engage your mind and entertain you with four short-burst 10-minute stories of Agile experiments and learnings. Our entertaining speakers will share with you some of their insights from their experiences and deep knowledge of Business Agility. You will walk away having been exposed to some great ideas and people.

Our speakers and topics are:

Cheryl Tansey - Three guiding principles to derail your #people agility
The agility of an organisation relies on the agility of the people within it. So what are the common mistakes we make when we’re trying to prepare our workforce for the future? Cheryl explores three guiding principles to derail your #peopleagility and how you might like to start shifting these in your organisation.

Cheryl is a second-generation agility coach and founder of Ministry of People.

Shane Hastie - Being Agile in a Remote Team
Shane discusses his experience working in a distributed, virtual organization which is founded on an Agile Mindset. The challenges of maintaining agility when remote, the ways the ICAgile team have consciously designed their team and organization’s culture and provide actionable advice based on real experience on how to maintain collaboration, teamwork and live the agile values in a remote-only organization.

Shane is the Director of Agile Learning Programs for ICAgile and Lead Editor for Culture & Methods at InfoQ.com

Jacob Creech - How I built a business based on experiments
Jacob will discuss how he used the approach of breaking big problems into little ones to make them easier to solve.

Jacob leads the Agile service at Assurity Consulting.

Gavin Coughlan - Rolling the Dice
Are bonus schemes a good way to share the success of the business with the people who made it possible? Are financial rewards a motivating factor for people or can they harm your culture? Gavin will share some of the experiments, some successful and some not, that were implemented to address these questions at freedom-centred workplace Boost.

Gavin is an Agile coach with Nomad8.
