"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."  2 Chronicles 7:14.

George Washington is quoted as saying "It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible."  John Adams said "Our Constitution was made for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadquate to the government of any other." Theodore Roosevelt said "It is necessary for the welfare of the nation that men's lives be based on the principles of the Bible. No man, educated or uneducated, can afford to be ignorant of the Bible." Ronald Reagan said "If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, we will be a nation gone under."

Over the past decade or so our nation has been on a downward spiral--economically, spiritually, and morally.  Our land is sick and in need of healing.  Many have awakended to the fact something needs to be done if we hope to keep our nation as we have known and loved--free and prosperous and a Beacon on a Hill to the rest of the world.

The Tea Party movement has awakened many citizens to the need for grassroots political activism to maintain our exceptional American values of liberty, freedom, and justice for all. But if that's as far as it goes, it will not truly restore our nation back to it's greatness. One thing is missing in the Tea Party movement is GOD!

Our freedoms are based on the fact that they come from God, not from man or government. Our Founding Fathers realized that a GOD dependent society was the only society that could work under a limitied Constitutional government.  The more people were accountable to God, the less government was need to maintain a civil and just society.  Where GOD played a major role in the lives of it's citizens, the happier they would be and the more they would govern themselves and look out for the needs of their neighbors.  Our pledge of allegiance says "One Nation Under God". Our currency says "In God We Trust". And behind the speaker's chair in the US House of Representative are these words "In God We Trust."   There are many many other examples that could be mentioned.

Very simply, when a people have a Judeo Christian worldview, they don't look to government for very much in terms of financial security.  The opposite it also true as we see happening in our day.  When God is NOT the center and foundation of our citizen's lives, tyrants step in to help them make sense of their meaningless lives becoming a pseudo God--one centered on man made solutions to problems of material inequality, lonliness, financial insecurity, and risk.  Citizens are promised material security if they will give up freedom.  It is a lie from the pits of Hell and never never never works.  It ends with citizens turning on one another, civil unrest, and even mass murder.

I would like to bring together other patriots of like mind who understand that our national problems are first and formost spiritual in nature!  And--with God's abundant mercy--America's greatness can be retored to be that "Beacon on a Hill" to the rest of the world by claiming God's wonderful promise found in 2 Chronincles 7:14..  It starts with God's people!  "IF my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
