Learn C++ Using C++ Builder | Complimentary Workshop

Byte Academy (http://www.byteacademy.co) has partnered with leading technology company Embarcadero Technologies in order to provide an introduction to the highly powerful programming language C++ using Embarcadero's C++ Builder Platform. Byte Academy's C++ Instructor Jasmine Zangi will lead the class along with support from Al Mannarino, Developer Advocate.

Lunch will be provided.

Prerequisites: All programming backgrounds are welcome (including absolute beginners). The free C++ Builder Starter Edition for the webinars and workshops must be downloaded before the event (in addition to this a 60 day extended trial extension will be made available at the meetup). *Please note that CB only runs on Windows. If you are using an Apple computer, please install it ahead of time on either (a) Boot Camp, or (b) using a virtual machine to run Windows, such as Parallels, VMWare, or VirtualBox.

• Data types, read/write commands, class mini project

• Algorithm concept

• If/else statement

• Relational operands, class mini project

• Arithmetic operands

• Loops - while and for loop types. class mini project

• Arrays, class mini project

• Strings, class mini project

• Functions, class mini project

• Sending arguments by val/by ref

• Pointers, class mini project

• Memory allocation - new/delete

• Structs, class mini project
