Cricket Tents

We'll be doing our cricket tents at Tunbridge Wells and at Canterbury in 2018. It's confirmed!!!

We have been running our tents at the festival weeks of various Kent County Cricket Club grounds since 1983. These tents are not open to the general public – they are for CAMRA members and all their guests. See at the foot of this article for the proposed 2018 tents.

General information
You will need to pay for admission to the ground at the gate (unless you are a KCCC member, of course)

Admission to the tents is free to CAMRA members (show your membership card, please). Members need to sign themselves and their guests into the visitor’s book (you can bring as many guests as you like!) We suggest that guests donate about £2 per day to help cover our overheads. This is entirely voluntary.

We have seating for about 40 people in front of our tent, or you can take your beer anywhere else in the ground (as long as it’s in a plastic glass if you go away from the tent)

We sell an ever-changing range of real beers, wine, soft drinks, and a cider. We also sell chili con carne, rolls and cakes at Tunbridge Wells, but we can only do bar snacks and cakes at Canterbury.

The tents are run in aid of charities, and we welcome any sponsorship. Many of the beers are donated by breweries. Our 2017 charities were the British Heart Foundation, MIND, and the Pilgrim's Hospice. The photos below show us presenting a cheque to one of the 2016 charities, Dover RNLI (we gave the same amount to Whitstable RNLI), and to two of the 2017 charities, British Heart Foundation and the Pilgrim's Hospice

You can join CAMRA at the tent. We also offer cricket tent only membership at a reduced price.

Save money by buying ground admission tickets in advance. Details are on the KCCC membership brochure which can be downloaded from the Membership section of There are also many different membership packages.
