Public Transport

Buses
There are frequent bus services between Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable, as well as connecting services to Faversham, Ashford, Dover, Sandwich, Folkestone and all Thanet towns.

*This is a handy ticket which is valid all day on 99% of buses* in all parts of Kent. You can buy it from the driver on any Stagecoach or Arriva bus; and they accept each other's tickets. Please note: other day tickets are available but are not valid on other operators' services.

Trains
Fast High Speed One trains travel between Canterbury West and London St Pancras every 30 minutes. Canterbury (East and West), Whitstable and Herne Bay also have direct trains to London terminals, Medway Towns, North Kent, Dover, Ashford and the Thanet loop.
