Troy joined Essex Realty Group in 2016 with a desire to help build a uniquely effective real estate sales team. As a Director, Troy focuses on the sale of multifamily and mixed-use assets throughout the suburbs of Chicago valued between $1M and $20M. Troy grew up in a family of real estate investors and property managers, and this real-world experience is reflected in Troy's authentic approach to brokerage.
Before coming to Essex, Troy was an Account Executive with IBM’s software division, covering an enterprise-level territory in the Midwest where he was responsible for driving process improvements and cost savings for his clients. Troy embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and has started numerous businesses ranging from information technology to self-storage and moving.
Troy is a graduate of Xavier University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Williams College of Business.
Troy is an active member of Toastmasters International, a regular volunteer of Habitat for Humanity, and an unwavering supporter of The Wounded Warriors Foundation.

A Member's & Non-Member's Event
Whether you own 200 units or have no real estate experience, anyone who has an interest in real estate investing is invited to attend our General Meeting. Each month a different speaker will share information on topics relating to the many aspects of investing in real estate and being a landlord. Our General Meetings provide a great opportunity to network with experienced real estate investors from all over the Chicago land area. We also have an extensive real estate library for our members to use. The General Meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of each month.
