This informative and entertaining 4-lecture series will focus on the history, geography, geology and mythology of the Western Slope.
The Grand Mesa Arts & Events Center and Delta County Libraries present the “Voices of the Western Slope” series.
The first lecture in the series, 'The Ute Indians', will be given by Alma Evans, PhD.
Dr. Evans will present her knowledge of the Ute Indians, Eagle Rock Shelter, Chief Shavano, Shavano Valley Petroglyphs, and the Removal of the Ute Indians.
