Auckland CBD Life Drawing

Auckland CBD Life Drawing is a friendly bunch who meet Monday nights 6:30-8:30pm to draw live from a nude model. Check out our Facebook group at

Find us in the Ellen Melville Centre, upstairs in the Pioneer Women's Hall - use the front doors, go upstairs and take the door to your left! We’ve also booked the room from 6pm, so there is plenty of time to come in and set up your gear. If we have a location change, you'll see it specified on the event.

All skill levels welcome (untutored). No booking required. Bring your favorite sketching tools and something to draw on. Sketchbooks and clipboards are recommended.

$10 for adults, $5 for students. Refreshments will be provided during the break, as well as an opportunity to have a chat, stretch your legs and take a look at each other’s drawings.

Best to arrive 5-10 mins early so as not to interrupt the beginning of the session.

No photography during the session! Please be respectful of the model. For their safety, we may turn away those without drawing equipment.
