Introduction to SSIS

Abstract:

SQL Server Integration Services, or SSIS, is the Microsoft ETL tool, but there are so many more things that SSIS is capable of doing. In this session, we will look at a high level of what SSIS is, and what are some tasks we can accomplish.

Bio:

Tyler Steele has worked with SQL Server for about four years being a report writer and DBA, previously working as a QA Analyst. He enjoys trying to break things (though ideally not in production) and find use cases for SSRS. Tyler works for CBC Companies in Columbus.
