Explorers Meeting, In-person

Greetings Explorers,

The purpose of this Saturday's meeting is to celebrate the Explorers getting back together in-person, and to discuss plans for future Explorer meetings. I will open the Capistrano Condo Clubhouse by 12:00 Noon to set up and have some lunch. You are welcome to join me. Feel free to bring your lunch and maybe drinks or treats to share.

I'm still trying to decide what topics to talk about, or which videos from my collection to share. So much has happened in the UFO / UAP / Anomalies realm since we last met, and I have experienced so many fascinating conferences. I have also read some really interesting books. It's tough to choose the most interesting. You can help me decide. Maybe you have your own interesting experiences, questions or research which I welcome. But, here's what I'm considering.

• Mark Sims hosted a 5-day virtual conference with the theme "Making Contact". Many of the most prominent UFO researchers and experiencers attended. The conference required participants to join as self-created "avatars" on a fully populated, virtual island: Virbela. Mark's own incredible contact story by itself could take up an entire meeting, but we won't do that. I was pleasantly surprised to run into a member from of our band of Explorers on the island - guess who? I may show some video clips.

• Interview with Navy crypto specialist Matthew Roberts - In 2015, Roberts was stationed onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. The events that transpired during their 2015 workup cycle brought us the first-ever declassified footage of UAPs. (IUFOC)

• UFO investigator and researcher Katie Griboski is Colorado MUFON's state director and STAR team Investigator who spoke about High Strangeness on a Colorado Ranch near her home, similar to the Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. (IUFOC)

• Book: "Skinwalkers at the Pentagon" - unmasks the massive scope of the Pentagon's landmark UFO study that ran from the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, D.C. Written by two program insiders and a respected journalist, Skinwalkers at the Pentagon comes to a conclusion that has never before been revealed! There's no question that there is a connection between UFOs, Skinwalker Ranch mysteries, and the Pentagon's UAP investigation. We've heard tales about scary, residual paranormal effects "following" former combat, DIA researchers home upon their return from the ranch. They are recounted in this book.

• Book: "Surviving Death" is a thoughtful and at times startling exploration of the afterlife. As a skeptical journalist, Leslie Kean is uniquely equipped to examine and evaluate the evidence for survival of consciousness. After encountering a rash of impossible facts and startling personal experiences, her conclusion is unequivocal: We are woefully ignorant of what happens after death, but it is very likely that something interesting happens rather than nothing. (Leslie Kean is one of the New York Times authors that broke the UFO-Pentagon story.)

For the safety of all Explorers, Face Masks are recommended for everyone, except when eating or speaking. Masks are required for anyone who is not fully vaccinated.

I have reserved the clubhouse for the entire day; so, we will end the meeting when everybody's ready to go home. If you are able to help defray the $100 clubhouse reservation fee, thank you.

If you are planning to join us Saturday, be sure to rsvp on meetup, and feel free to bring a guest. This meeting will not be broadcast.

Please avoid parking in a "reserved" space. Park only in a space marked "guest". Most of the spaces in front of the clubhouse and near the tennis court are guest spaces.
