Jason Locklin is a Research Officer at the Region of Waterloo District School Board where he supports evidence-based decision making in education around student well-being, equity, and academic success. He previously worked in healthcare research, examining early indicators of frailty, morbidity, and cognitive decline in primary care patient populations. Jason completed a Ph.D in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience at the University of Waterloo in 2015. A quantitative research and evaluation scientist, Jason is an advocate for evidence-based policy and transparent, reproducible research for the public good.
