February 12th, 2020 marks 211 years since the birth of Charles Darwin. CFIC Ottawa will celebrate (the next day) with a get-together including a talk on fossils by Carleton University PhD student Dana Korneisel.
We'll start at 7pm with a pizza plus (optional) potluck dinner. Everyone is invited to bring an appetizer or dessert to share; cost is $5 if you are contributing food, $10 if not.
Vegetarian and vegan pizza options will be available - please indicate your preference in your RSVP or in the comments.
Soft drinks, juice, coffee and tea will be provided.
There will be a few fun science/evolution related activities, with prizes!
Potluck food items will be competing for a bio-diversity award, so be creative (and don't forget to bring your list of ingredients).
