1) parents of children with ADHD

2) adults/spouses/partners of people with ADHD.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Our meetings are open to the public. Meetings are free if you are a CHADD member; if you are not a member, we do ask for a $5 donation, but no one will ever be turned away for inability to donate.

We are a local affiliate of the national CHADD organization. Making a difference for more than 25 years, CHADD is the nation’s leading organization serving people affected by ADHD and related conditions.

CHADD was founded in 1987 in response to the frustration and sense of isolation experienced by parents and their children with ADHD.

CHADD has thousands of members in 200 local chapters throughout the United States. Chapters offer support for individuals, parents, teachers, professionals, and others.

In addition to publishing the bi-monthly ATTENTION magazine for members, CHADD offers training about ADHD to parents through its Parent to Parent program and to educators through its Teacher to Teacher program. CHADD sponsors an annual international conference on ADHD and actively advocates for people affected by ADHD. The National Resource Center on ADHD: A Program of CHADD (NRC) is the CDC-funded national clearinghouse for evidence-based information about ADHD.

CHADD support groups are facilitated by VOLUNTEERS and we do not endorse nor recommend specific professionals, products, services, publications, medications, or treatments. With that said, the strength of our meetings comes from valuable & local information that participants bring to our discussions + first-hand knowledge and recommendations from individual group participants.
