What we're about

Chester based monthly meeting open to all celebrating Polish culture, language and heritage. Each month we present a topic and discuss as a group in both English and Polish to cater for members' different backgrounds.
Anyone who is interested in Polish culture and language at any level of linguistic ability is welcome to our Society. Meetings are organised in hybrid format, you can join us in Storyhouse in Chester or online via Zoom. So if you live outside Cheshire you can still become a member of the group!

To be a member of our Society you will need to pay a subscription of £25 a year. If you consider joining, come to our first meeting free of charge and discover more about what we do.

Field trip to National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas on Saturday 10th September 2022.

Time TBC

Please confirm if you are interested in going by the end of June to make booking in advance to guarantee entry. Then we will organise transport depending on who is going.

The National Memorial Arboretum is a British site of national remembrance at Alrewas. Its objective is to honour the fallen, recognise service and sacrifice, and foster pride in the British Armed Forces and civilian community.

Amongst many memorials there is the Polish Forces War Memorial statue. The Poles were the fourth largest allied army fighting the Nazi's and the memorial is to commemorate their effort and honour their contribution.
