CINLUG September meeting: Introduction to Btrfs
https://cinlug.org/mettings/2020/September
For our September meeting, special guest Neal Gompa will present an Introduction to Btrfs.
Btrfs is the next generation filesystem for Linux that everyone is talking about! This talk provides an overview of the filesystem, a bit of history, who uses it, current state of support in distributions, and how to get started with using Btrfs.
DevOps Engineer by day, Linux systems aficionado and developer by night! Neal is a developer and contributor in Fedora (FESCo), Mageia, and openSUSE, focusing primarily on the base Linux system components, such as package and software management. He's a big believer in "upstream first", which has led him all over the open source world.
