2021.07 CINLUG Meeting -- Rocky Linux
Central Indiana Linux Users Group

Please join us on Wednesday, July 7th at 18:00 (6:00 PM) EDT for a presentation on Rocky Linux by founder Greg Kurtzer.

Rocky Linux is a complete, binary-compatible downstream release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and successor to CentOS -- which Greg also originally founded. Rocky Linux 8.4 was just released on June 23, 2021:

Along with his work with Rocky Linux, Greg is founder and chief executive officer of Ctrl IQ, Incorporated. Ctrl IQ works to modernize high performance computing (HPC) infrastructure and bring forth HPC-2.0 capabilities from niche into the mainstream enterprise. Rocky Linux, Singularity and Warewulf, as open source projects, are the primary building blocks of this.
