Conejo Fall Trail Work Day and Lunch

Needs a location

Come and join us to fix up Conejo Valley's newest trail - the Wishbone Trail in Westlake! After a two year hiatus, we are able to get together again as a group to restore our local trails. Overdue for attention, the popular Wishbone Trail has had some growing pains over the past few years. Most of the work will be widening the trail where it has broken down on the outside edge, and also we will need to trim back some overgrowing brush.

Meet at the Westlake Village Community Park at 7:30 am to register and be ready to walk to the work area by 8. We will return at noon for a Thank You lunch. To speed up the sign-in process, we would appreciate it if you could register online in advance at https://cosf.org/events/register/

Thanks for registering in advance!

All tools will be provided, as well as instructions on how to use them safely and effectively, by experienced trail crew leaders. No experience needed - everyone works at a rate they're comfortable with and takes lots of rest breaks.

Wear sturdy hiking boots with good lugs, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, sunglasses, sunblock and a hat, and bring water, snacks. Bring work gloves.

You can learn more about trail restoration work here https://corbamtb.com/programs/trail-crew.shtml
