Andrew Michler, Passive House designer and organizer of the Passive House Rocky Mountian Group North will present on the rapidly evolving policy efforts in North America in the adoption of Passive House. Great strides have been made in such diverse regions such as New York, Vancouver, and California that he will go into detail. Andrew will also cover the new Policymakers Resource Guide introduced by the North American Passive House Network which provides a coordinated road map to introduce Passive House as a robust low carbon and resilient building solution for local governments. We will wrap up the meeting by discussing policy potential in the Rocky Mountain region with breaking updates on the city of Denver stretch code process and how to organize efforts to further adoption of the standard.

The presentation will be held at Odell Brewing Company’s taproom at 800 E. Lincoln Avenue in Fort Collins. Doors open at 7 pm with presentation commencing at 7:30 and running through 8:30 pm.
