Upcoming events (4+)

Walk at Chapel Hills Mall (indoors) 5:30 pm

Needs a location

Due to the colder weather, we are moving our walks indoors. We will meet in front of Dick's Sporting Goods inside on the lower level.

We will walk for about an hour rotating the floors while enjoying each other's company and the warmth of the building.

After the walk, those that would like to can join at the food court for a bite to eat and/or further fellowship.

Please RSVP on Meet-Up so Cindi knows how many to expect or give her a call.

Hike at Strawberry Fields - 9:00 am

Needs a location

This will be a relatively short loop (approx 3.5 miles).

Quite scenic and shaded with some pretty views of the rocky bluffs above at the mouth of North Cheyenne Canyon. There is some up and down, but the popular trail is otherwise easy, not rocky.

We will meet at the parking lots where Cheyenne Boulevard and Evans Avenue come together, (2320 Evans Ave) just to the southeast of Starsmore Nature Discovery Center (try not to park in the lot of the Center itself).

We will do a short but scenic loop with some very pretty views. Dogs are allowed. Please bring water, a snack and good walking shoes.

Join us at Portal Park for Pickleball! New time is 11:00 AM! This will allow the sun to warm the court.

Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. The game is played on a smaller tennis court and has been referred to as "mini-tennis".

Two or four players use solid paddles to hit a perforated polymer ball (a little larger than a whiffle ball) over a net. Pickleball games can be played at any and all energy levels (slow and comfortable, mid-energy level and/or fast paced). The popularity of this sport continues to inspire all age groups and it's a great way to get out, exercise, enjoy the fall weather and fellowship!

Wear comfortable clothes, tennis shoes and possibly a hat. We'll provide the paddles and balls - you bring your CHAIR, WATER, energy, enthusiasm!! We have enough paddles for eight people to play at once (which is typically 2 courts).

Please RSVP here on Meet-Up. or with Scott to let him know how many to anticipate.

And if the weather forecast predicts rain, snow, or extreme cold temperatures, please call or text Scott to see if we'll be playing.

See you on the court!
