Overview of topic:
Many job seekers struggle to produce a résumé, and feel persistent doubts about it when calls fail to come in from recruiters or hiring managers. They try to sort through advice from multiple sources, many of which directly contradict each other. The whole subject leaves them feeling discouraged, ultimately hampering their job search.

In this interactive session, we’ll put into perspective the role of the résumé in today’s job market, discuss factors that make a great résumé, and explore strategies for getting the résumé into the right hands at the right time. You’ll come away with an understanding of what you need for a compelling résumé, tips on how you can make that résumé work for you most effectively, and new-found clarity and confidence for your job search.

>> Please bring a few copies of your résumé and a few pens of different colors; we’ll do a résumé review exercise.
