TONIGHT'S SPOTLIGHT / Show & Tell Item: Exploring Surface Mount Technology.

"Surface-mount technology (SMT) is a method for producing electronic circuits in which the components are mounted or placed directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards" Ct Hackerspace member Chuck Schall, who has experience in numerous technologies and electronic equipment, has volunteered to share his first hand knowledge and personal hobby projects using SMT.

Explore, discuss, and share knowledge in this emerging technology working mainstream out of factories and into the hands of eager hobbyists.Chuck can assist in demonstrating advance uses on individual questions as well. This is a great opportunity to stop by and learn or add to a resourceful skillset.

Wednesday Open Space Nights are our informal nights where we work on a variety of projects: Personal, Infrastructure, or group designs. Come visit and join in the fun, We look forward to meeting you.

How to find us: Enter rear main door on second level, and take one flight up. The Rear Entrance is located up at the top of the ramp.
